The children wrote these words out in class today so if you could check that they have spelled them correctly.

Maths and English sheets: Each night the children should complete one maths sheet and one English sheet. The sheets are back to back this week and the day of the week that they should be completed on is written on the front of the sheet. These are relating to topics we are looking at in English and Maths.
On the back page there is a sheet for spelling practice. This sheet should be done throughout the week for each of the spellings.

All About My Family Project: Most children have completed this project but if you have not finished it yet can you have it done by this Thursday. We will be putting our family posters together towards the end of the week so if you would like to send in additional photos for your child to use on their poster you can. I have some photos from when the children were in Junior Infants that we will also be using.

Team Teaching
The class is split into groups of 5/6 and each group receives 45 minutes of literacy work with one of the assigned teachers. Some of these groups have received readers for homework so check with your child about whether or not they have reading tonight. Some groups have a reading log in their folder to keep track of their reading progress.
